To support the use of optical fiber as a cabling media in the network, especially in the horizontal premises applications, Net Optics offers a variety of duplex and simplex adapters.
The SC Connection System has been designed to maintain fiber optic cabling polarity in the Telecommunication and Datacom networks. The Connector system combines two, widely accepted, NTT-SC standard connectors in a common duplex housing. This housing, while maintaining polarity of the cable, provides smooth insertion and removal of the connector pairs. The SC to SC and SC to ST combinations both support the EIA/TIA commercial building telecommunication wiring standards.
All SC Cables include Net Optics' new iMark™ SC Clips. These Clips feature an integrated miniature note card. With the included note cards, network managers can document cable and device connections, deployment history, or other useful facts for improved organization and on-the-spot troubleshooting. Available in a variety of colors to complement any network, iMark clips are another first-to-market innovation from Net Optics.
The exceptional performance of the Net Optics Cable Assemblies is the result of 100% testing, and advanced termination techniques that are employed throughout the manufacturing process. One of the most critical elements in fiber optic termination is the ferrule end-face geometry. Physical contact, fiber core alignment, and termination reliability are greatly impacted by the radius and apex offset concentricity of the ferrule. That is why only pre-polished and pre-radiused ferrules are used in Net Optics Cable Assemblies.
Additional Features: Utilizes standard NTT-SC and Bellcore 326 compliant connectors, Meets EIA/TIA 586A and IEC 874-19 standards, Low insertions loss: < 0.15 dB typical in singlemode, < 0.34dB typical in Multimode, Rugged duplex or simplex housing provides uniform and smooth mating, Optional adapters styles: SC to SC and SC to ST.
