Net Optics 10 GigaBit Fiber Tap HD8 is optimized and tested for high-performance 10Gbps fiber networks. Available in singlemode and multimode fiber, the 10 GigaBit Fiber Tap HD8 supports passive monitoring, stealth operation, and 24x7 reliability. The high-density capable Tap minimizes the loss of unused rack-space by delivering eight functional Taps into .5U (16 in 1U).

All Optical Design
Requiring no power, the 10 GigaBit Fiber Tap HD8 maintains permanent access ports for monitoring tools, without introducing a point of failure or interfering with network connections. The passive nature of the 10 GigaBit Fiber Tap HD8 delivers full-duplex monitoring with 100 percent network traffic visibility, including layer 1 and 2 errors.

Simply Plug It In
Net Optics offers custom monitoring cables that send each side of the network link to a separate NIC on the monitoring tool.

Security and Visibility
Because the Tap does not require an IP address, both the Tap and attached monitoring tools are isolated from the network, dramatically reducing their exposure to attacks. The combination of stealth operation and traffic monitoring through the network takes secure visibility to a new level, ideal for achieving Data Security Compliance.
