The company will debut and make available the Director xStream Pro Network Controller Switch and Director xBalancer Monitoring Load Balancer at Interop 2010 in New York City, October 18-22, 2010.
Director xStream Pro is Net Optics' flagship high-end switch, featuring such innovative capabilities as as 80Gbps DPI, dynamic load balancing, True Time Stamping™, and ProPush™ nanosecond-level precision network analytics. Unrivaled flexibility and functionality allow users to perform a wide range of tasks, reducing latency and raising network efficiency to unprecedented levels. At Interop, Net Optics will also introduce Director xBalancer Monitoring Load Balancer—which has already set a new "industry first" record (40Gbps) for dynamic load balancing as well as supporting 240Gbps bi-directional traffic. By merging a high performance and low latency switching fabric with specialized hardware and advanced software, xBalancer provides the flexibility to perform in-depth load balancing and eliminate bottlenecks. Ideal for service providers and other large organizations that need to achieve high availability and support service levels amid skyrocketing multiprotocol traffic, xBalancer increases the amount of traffic that can be supported for inline applications. The latest version of xBalancer includes Net Optics' award-winning Director xStream, providing IT managers a unified platform with integrated aggregation and load balancing capabilities to address multiple use cases including security and stateful monitoring.
