This is the first time in many years of attendance that I am leaving InterOp after the second day. This is also one of the most exciting InterOp shows I can recall. Well, maybe the 9/11 InterOp in Atlanta was more exciting but not in a good way.

Unlike other releases, we have launched this version to a selected number of customers and our partners before we made it available for all. Earlier this month, we released Director and Director Pro software version 6.1.0. This release adds additional enhancements such as support for FTP passive connection mode, ability to clear port peak statistics, support for udf_v4 filter configuration via the WebUI, configurable SyncE, several fixes in addition to SNMP MIB Enhancements.

Last week, Gartner’s Jonah Kowall and Debra Curtis published the vendor landscape for application aware Network Performance Monitoring and Network Packet Brokers.
